The Packers of Indian River, Ltd H.A.C.C.P. team has constructed the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Plan as a basis for the Food Safety Policy. The Food Safety Policy ensures safe food products through the adoption of a thorough H.A.C.C.P. system, which has been developed according to the Codex Alimentarius Commission guidance documents. The H.A.C.C.P. plan is based on the most current scientific knowledge and research available. The underlying principles, policies and procedures work in concert with the Good Agricultural Practices (G.A.P.) guidelines that have been established for our grove operations. As a vertically integrated company we strive to produce fresh, wholesome and safe produce.
